The Cante de las Minas International Festival has been held without interruption since 1961. Every August, the festival brings together the most established artists from the world of flamenco, as well as promising young talents and emerging artists eager to win the coveted Lámpara Minera and other prestigious prizes awarded by the competition in the categories of singing, guitar, dance and flamenco instrumentalists – prizes which serve as a major springboard for their careers.
An internationally renowned competition
This flamenco competition has established itself as one of the most influential professional launchpads on the global flamenco scene.
