Ballet BC, whose bold and innovative style has already earned it a well-established reputation, returns to Luxembourg with a new three-part production. In the first part, Silent Tides, a choreography by the company’s artistic director, Medhi Walerski, featuring an original composition by Adrien Cronet and music by Bach, is a work brimming with energy, for two male and female dancers, which reflects our relationship with others and with ourselves. Heart Drive, by the Dutch artist duo Imre and Marne van Opstal, explores boundaries – including taboos – and the possibilities of the body and mind, delving into themes of love, connection and pleasure. In the third part, with an original composition by Amos Ben-Tal, PASSING, by Johan Inger, explores the vulnerable and intimate aspects that make each individual’s journey unique.
