Georg Friedrich Händel’s mesmerising work L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato is transformed into a dazzling production that blends opera and dance, choreographed by Mark Morris and conducted by Jane Glover. A spectacle that unfolds across thirty-two three-dimensional scenes inspired by the paintings of William Blake.
Originally inspired by John Milton’s famous poems on the states of the human soul, this vibrant story moves from profound melancholy towards a contagious collective energy that celebrates the joy of life.
