The Marriage of Figaro

Considered one of the great operatic masterpieces, The Marriage of Figaro was the first collaboration between Mozart and his librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte (Don Giovanni, The marriage of Figaro, Così fan tutte). The Canadian Robert Carsen has taken on the role of stage director of this opera for the first time, with a new production in which philosophy and the abuse of power are mixed with the comedy. The characters will be brought to life by the voices of Mattia Olivieri, Carles Pachon, Olga Kuchynska, Elsa Dreisig, Sara Blanch, Giulia Semenzato, Luca Micheletti, Germán Olivera, Cecilia Molinari and Lucía Cahiuela, among others, with musical direction by Stefano Montanari.
