Così fan tutte (Ópera en corto)
The Teatro Real has created ‘Ópera en Corto’, condensed versions – lasting around 45 minutes – of works from the operatic repertoire, presented by the composer Francesca Caccini (1587–1641), brought to life virtually. Guided by the first woman to compose an opera – who was also a singer, lutenist, poet and teacher – the Real offers an entertaining journey through the most popular operas.
Francesca Caccini will introduce us to Mozart’s compositions and his characters, helping us to understand his musical style and historical context, whilst exploring the principles of equality, freedom and the questioning of the status quo that were flourishing across Europe during the fascinating Age of Enlightenment.
The project is supported by NTT DATA and uses Telefónica’s technology on MyOpera.
